Our Approach
How We Teach
We believe young children learn best when they are actively involved in their learning. Our classrooms provide a balance of purposeful play, hands-on exploration, teacher-guided instruction, and child-led experiences. Teachers serve as guides and partners in the learning process — carefully observing children, asking questions, introducing new ideas and vocabulary, modeling skills, and creating opportunities that encourage children to think, explore, communicate, create, and solve problems.
Our teachers recognize that every child develops at an individual pace. Learning experiences are adapted when appropriate to meet children where they are, while providing encouragement and opportunities for continued growth.
As children become developmentally ready for early writing experiences, our program incorporates Handwriting Without Tears to support foundational handwriting skills. Through activities involving movement, music, fine-motor development, manipulatives, and child-friendly language, children strengthen pencil control, letter formation, and early writing confidence.
